Thought I'd post a pic of the Spinning Star block that I did at a workshop last week end.
I signed up for it without even seeing what the block looked - thats me jump in with both feet LOL. I still have to put a border around it - not too sure what I am going to do with it. I keep thinking that I must stick to the same colour combinations so adventually I can make a lap quilt from all my blocks. Would be interested if anyone else has made this block. Tisha |

Beautiful block. A new technique for getting curves without sewing them, Intersting. I have not seen this block either. Will have to check it out. Thanks for sharing.

So tell us the secret - is it an applique ot pieced, or a combination?

Tisha--that is a really neat block. I have never seen it before. Was it hard to do? How big is it????? So many questions....

Tisha,
I really like your block--the fabrics and colors are great! I haven't ever seen a pattern like that. Do you know if it is available anywhere? It looks like some work, but I really like it and would like to try it. Looks like you did a wonderful job on it, and I think you should definitely do more with it. You could make a couple more blocks like it and alternate with some complementary solids or tonals in like colors (or even with some simpler blocks made with same or similar fabrics/colors) and come up with a small "something"...... Just a thought. Love it!! Love the pattern!!! Janet |

I may well make afew more of these but I have stupidly misplaced my fabric - I have seen it put away safetly but where I can't remember. Trouble with being so tidy I suppose LOL. Anyhow if you want the pattern PM me with your email address & I'll send you a copy. Thanks once again Janet. Tisha  |
Interesting, I've never seen this one before either.

How I missed this I don't know, that looks very interestingly put together Tisha?? Is it sort of part appliqued and topstitched....as my inquisitive brain is trying to work it out........
