St Pat's Day Squedge Project

Here is my St. Pat's squedge table topper.

Great pattern...the directions say to press as you choose. The Valentine's version was pressed to one side or the other. This time I pressed all the seams open. I think this made for a much neater looking item.

This was fun to make. The only fabric I purchase new was has the black background. All the other fabrics and the batting were left over from a project making 10 aprons on commission (never doing that again).

This is a gift for my son and his lovely bride.

I had never heard of Squedge. I had to google to find out about it. I like making table toppers for the holidays or using monthly. This one will have to go on my to do list. Looks fun.

Where did you find the pattern? It is very nice, I think it would be great for any holiday.

I googled Squedge and came up with lots of options. The free pattern is at: www.phillipsfiberart.com. There is a video and the free pattern. Looks like an interesting site.

Beautiful. Don't want to pay that price for the ruler. I have a Ten Degree Ruler from Phillips Fiber Art mark with a 60 degree angle on it. I will try that first.

Cute as can be. Is there anywhere in the U.S. that the squedge ruler can be purchased? I'm thinking that maybe it wouldn't be so expensive if it were purchased here.
