Just finished this diamond log cabin star. I may hang it on a wall if I can come up with a way to keep the star shape. My Dh said he thought it was too pretty for the table. (aaahhhhh, so sweet) Well I hope you enjoy my pics.

I believe there is a similar pattern from fons & porter in most recent magazine, I originally purchased a pattern from dunster quilts: diamond log cabin star. It was fun to make, it did take some time.

I made a this hexagon wall hanging and had to figure out to keep it straight. Here's what I'd do - put a small rod pocket across the back where the points are sticking out. Put a thin dowel in each pocket. With the point on top of yours, you could put a small ring for hanging.

peaceandjoy 10-19-2010 07:07 AM

Stupendous! Great choices of fabrics, and beautifully done. Thank you for sharing.

trif 10-19-2010 07:17 AM

Quiltmom 04. Thanks for sharing your quilt, it's very pretty. Good idea with placing dowels in the points across, that might just work. Now I have two good options to try. Thanks
