A Star for Katelyn

This was my very first eight pointed star quilt. I almost gave up many times before I finished this. I am glad now that I did go ahead and finish because I learned a lot. This was a challenge for me. I made a lot of mistakes but maybe I will do better next time. LOL I am open for any advise. Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful quilt! I love the pattern and the colors and the label!! Great job! Did you use the polyfil batting? I LOVE the puffiness with that pattern. Simply beautiful.

I agree, it is beautiful. When you say poly-fil is that like medium loft, high loft? I also like them puffy but never sure what to use. Thanks for sharing it!

First off let me tell you I love the purple, that is my favorite color. You did a great job, and I don't know what mistakes you are talking about. Just be proud, and happy you finished it, and I know your grand daughter will love it. Thank you very much for sharing with us.

It looks absolutely marvelous!!! My only sorta suggestion for next time is that cornerstones make it easier to keep everything in alignments.
