Starburst made with a "mini-wedge' ruler
2 Attachment(s)
I have had this packet of mini-wedge rulers for several years. I finally used the smallest one for the first time today.
I am going to do another one similar but with a brownish center and orange/yellow for the wedges (for a sunflower. Anyway, this is the results. I put tape over the feeddogs to do that little bit of free motion quilting in the center (not very well done). |
I got the wedge rulers about a month ago, and this is one of my goals to do something like yours. It is just beautiful. Great job.

Beautiful job.

It's beautiful, the colors are so rich and warm-looking.
(I know you didn't ask but IMHO, if you aren't happy with the center, add a bit more meandering.) |
