This is how I store quilts waiting to be quilted. After layering and basting, I roll them on large cardboard rolls, tied with yarn or ribbon. I obtained them from joanns...it is the large rolls that home decor fabrics are displayed on. They give them to me for free. Keeps them from needing to be repressed.

If your quilt top isn't too big, you can also use a new pool noodle. Might be some on sale cheap at the end of the summer. I get mine at the $ store.
