Strips...everywhere - my first FMQ
1 Attachment(s)
This is my second large quilt and my first FMQ - I am hooked on free motion quilting. It is sooo much fun. I do not have a frame or a long arm, just a regular sewing machine but it was still a blast. I crossed lines once or twice (nobody will ever see it) but all in all I am very happy with it. All I need to do is wash it and put it in the dryer to get that crincle look I really like. I saw a tutorial for this quilt on this board, when I signed up. It was posted by one of the members - Samelia's Mum - thank you!

Oooo I love this! Congrats on free motion quilting. My first try was a disaster. :D

I love the way it turned out...Congrats on a good job for your first FMQ. No one will notice the crossed lines, and besides, who cares???

Very pretty would like to see a close up of your fmq

Oh how pretty! I'm going to bookmark this for two reasons: I love your use of jelly rolls and the pops of color, and you give me courage to try fmq an entire quilt too. (I've just been doing small accent sections)

Very pretty and I too love FMQ, mostly how I quilt my quilts. I use my regular sewing machines w/9" throat. I have done all the way up to larger than a queen.
