I've had such a good day...went to the sewing machine shop and exchanged my broken FMQ foot (don't ask!), also bought a 1/4 inch foot (how did I ever manage without that?), did my grocery shopping, stocked up on cat food and treats (can you tell I got paid yesterday).

Then got home and FINISHED my 'QUILT FOR ME'! Yayaaayayyy! Am so happy with it. Am going to wash it tomorrow to soften it up, but it's so nice, am so proud of myself. First time handling a quilt bigger than baby size, first time doing free motion, first quilt I have made FOR ME! The cats like it too!

I even started on the quilted cushion cover that I am making as a 1st birthday gift for my friend's baby, Lottie. Love doing all this stuff! Am so chuffed.

Ooh, goodness Terri, you have reminded me that I have the cat fish bed to make for the kids. I have been mentally blocking that out as have never used a sewing pattern before, and it involves foam and allsorts!
