Finished 9 tabletoppers today...they don't lay completely flat, but that is ok. Nothing is perfect, and sure enjoyed making them...
Am also making hot pads to match.
They are very lovely!
If you are making hot pads, do you have to use a different batting or what?
pretty pretty pretty
So pretty and festive!! :D
I use batting plus the sterolite (spelling right?) fabric that is made for heat. I get it at Joannes
That's awesome!
great job!, thanks for sharing
Love your fabric choices, they are all so pretty and festive! I think I'm going have to try one of these too!
Nice job.
They look "PERFECT" to me!! All of your fabric's are so pretty & the topper's are really nice. Thank you for sharing.
:D :D :D :D |
They are very pretty. Nice fabric.
I just finished one that refuses to be "flat" as well...but it has batting
I have discovered that flannel sheets work the best as "batting"--and even better if starched lightly before sewing them into the runner |
I just can not get the second strip right, have no idea what I am doing wrong.......Michele Nice job 1!!!!!
These are very pretty and festive. Good job.
Nice job. I hope to make an octagon table topper before Christmas.
Great job! You've been busy! :)
HOW PRETTY!
It took me a while to figure that out too. You have to sew the strips every other one, then it works out. Sew them one corner to the next.
Thanks everyone....I keep very busy....I am trying to get Some Scarlet O'Hara pillowcases done for Saturday. We are Civil War Reenactors and are having our Christmas Party. The ladies will love them I hope.
Beautiful toppers!! :D:D:D
