i finished this last winter, kept it for myself, and decided to take it outside
to try to do it justice, cause the inside pics looked pretty dull. it is from the eleanor burns book (of course), so it was pretty easy. quilted by JUNE COLE, the lady in my town who has a little quilting shop with her daughter MILLY. they are the best. |
Very pretty, I love the soft pastels and the quilting is a super job. Those ladies know their stuff, so great a mom and daughter working together. :D :D :D that is a very pretty setting for your quilt, colors look so nice outside :P

Oh is that ever pretty nanabird!! I love that first setting you used to take a picture. The colors in the quilt nearly match the bench and ground colors!! Very nice. It's so soft with the lighter shades of blue and brown. Just lovely.

Totally awesome!!

That is gorgeous! Your work is wonderful and the quilting beautiful, too!

:D Really beautiful....Love the colors you put together. I love picking out fabric and sewing together the patterns. The quilting part is my least favorite part of the whole process...but, I kind of feel guilty when I think about having it quilted elsewhere. :( It just takes me soooooooooo long and I get tired of it so fast. Anyone else feel that way?

i'm not much of a quilter. although i am practicing on baby quilts. the size is easier for me to manage.
that is why i am so grateful that i have june and milly here to quilt my projects. i have been doing more of the bindings myself. their prices are just so reasonable they are hard to resist :!: :!: :!: |
thanks for the kind words. i thought it was just me, getting tired of a project.
when i start a quilt, picking fabrics, changing my mind 50 times, finally making that first cut, i am so fired up. i think every new quilt project is my favorite . theni get to work and before long i am casting my eye on my stash and mentally planning my next one. i start to get tired of the one i am on and anxious to get on to the next. i, too keep several projects going at one time    |
WHEW!.... I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one! I also cross stitch so I try to have some of that going at the same time too. It does help to switch back and forth.

you all are such an encouragement. i see some of the incredible work that you all do and i am amazed and gratified to be among you. |
Please tell me what Eleanor Burns book you got the Tennessee Waltz pattern from! I am making one from written instructions but would love to see the printed ones.
I spplicated blue flower in the snowball and it is really looking good. Blue corners on the snowball, green and white 4 patches, blue and white star points. |
I love it! I was thinking of making one. I love the design.
