I can't begin to thank you all so much for giving me confidence to quilt this lap throw for my DD's birthday! I was so worried about actually quilting it. It's not fancy-schmancy quilting, but after doing the wiggly diagonals in one direction, I decided I liked it the way it was. I also quilted in the borders. The most important part was that my DD loved it! Thanks again for all the wonderful members on this QB!

Your back looks good enough to be a front, so you came out a winner twice

Awwww....thank you! It's a panel from Lakeside Resort collection from Moda. I like using panels for the backs of quilts. Some of the fabrics are from that same collection from my LQS.

It's a Turning 20 quilt, but only used 12 fabrics for a lap quilt size, 3 blocks x 4 blocks. There were directions in the back of my Turning 20 book. Hope this helps.

BevF 05-02-2011 05:30 PM

Awesome! I enjoy seeing the two-sided quilts. Both sides are equally beautiful, how often will she switch the up side?

Thank you! She did like both sides, so she will probably switch it from time to time. I really liked the panel...it was neat and I got it for a good price on ebay.
