O.k., the first picture worked good so let's try another one. This picture is of my fourth quilt; also a class I took at the Viking Sewing Center. It's called Thanks Frank, after Frank Loyd Wright, who was an architect and designed houses way ahead of the time. This design is from the book French Braid Quilts by Jane Hardy Miller. The pattern looks hard but it really wasn't. The black strips between the color strips is only 3/4" wide before sewing.
The colors in the quilt didn't show up as well as I would like. They actually are more vivid. There was a lot of light behind the quilt when I took the picture. Wow, that is a stunning quilt! I have seen this pattern done in many different colorways and this is my favorite by far. :D The border fabric you chose is absolutely perfect.

Are you sure this isn't made out of stained glass? Wow! That's amazing!!! Frank would be jealous!

That is so beautiflul. What is the pattern called? I would love to try a stained glass quilt, but I don't think I'm ready to take it on yet. I need a lot more practice before tackling something like this!
