This is my latest top - Thinking Outside the Block. JNCT14 posted a picture of a quilt she made, to enter into a fair in CT. I was so impressed I decided to order the pattern and see what I could come up with. This is a queen size. My quilting helper kitty decided to join for the photo op.

Very nice. Your kitty is cute too. I love how animals have to pose with quilts. It just makes the quilt cuter if you ask me. LOL!

I ordered the pattern from http://www.toadusew.com/ -- very speedy delivery time! The top was time-consuming but not difficult. For a queen, it used 100 8 inch log cabin blocks (10 for each row). It was just a matter of having 50 blocks with the seams ironed "in" and 50 with the seams ironed "out" -- and then alternating them, and rotating them in the rows so that the pattern comes out.

Thanks, everyone! :)
