So cute, reminds me of when I was Queen of a Red Hat group. I decorated a lampshade "hat' for a birhtday bash with all kinds of sewing things just like those and a very tiny pieced 4" quilt. That makes a cute wall decoration for a quilt/sewing room.

A great idea. I have a floral wreath by the front door that needs to be redone. I have some spools, etc. that I can use to replace the flowers that are looking rather sad. Thank you for sharing and for the idea.

Love it! I just came across some grapevine wreaths and was about to toss them. I bet it took longer to heat up the glue gun!

So cute!! Great idea!

MarleneC 10-09-2012 09:20 AM

That is cute--a pack of used needles would be cute to add and maybe a piece of fabric with some pins stuck in it or a few stitches on it or ribbons. Maybe an unused seam ripper. A marking pencil. Oh, my--this might require a larger wreath.

travelingquilter 10-09-2012 04:57 PM

i've sometimes picked up thread at a thrift store, but its too old to want to use in my sewing projects....this is a good thing to do with them!

GreatStarter 10-09-2012 05:25 PM

Very cute decoration!
