Made up this "nap" quilt top for my lovely Daughter-in-law, Samantha.
Gotta finish quilting the Airplane quilt before I get to this one, though. Good news is, mitered borders don't scare me anymore! |
What a great quilt!! I love your fabrics. Did you design this yourself or get the idea from somewhere? I think Samantha is going to love it!!

Your DIL is going to just love this quilt! It is so pretty.
|
Geez, that's pretty! I really like what you did!!! She's going to love it. (If she doesn't, let me know and I'll give you my address  )

All these fabrics are the "Fuchsia" or "Fuchsia II" line from Maywood Studios. I found several different colors on ebay. Then I made up a bunch of HSTs and 4squares and played around with them on the design board, while I still had it up to play around on. This is just what I thought looked best. The ones I have left over I'm going to put together into little quilts for Sam's 2 little girls, aged 2 and 4. |
Absolutely gorgeous! Your mitered borders are beautiful!

Gorgeous!!

This is so stiking! The dark green- I think it's dark green- it is on my screen- stands out so well! And then the rest just draw your eye out to the pretty border. This is great. You did a good job with your design and colors.
I also like the smaller blankets for the daghters. What a good idea. |
Beautiful!!! Great Design!! Samantha will go nuts over her new quilt :D :D :D
