These are not very good pictures, but this is a baby quilt I made with shadow trapunto. I'm teaching a class at a retreat in May on trapunto. This is my first experience in teaching this technique so I'm a little nervous.

Yes, the colored fabric is under the whole cloth top. I used very bright colors, which look pastel under the top which is muslin. I bought the top with the design drawn on it, at a quilt auction in an Amish community for $5. I bought two of them!
