These are wonderful. Could you please give a small bit of information on how you made these. I can't figure it out by seeing the pics'.

P.S. IMHO, your floor is way to clean to be a quilter. Not one speck of dust. I'm amazed! How do you do that?
peace

Thank you ! They are done on an embroidery machine. My floor is clean because yesterday my sewing room was a disaster and to save my life, I decided to tidy up! LOL!

Very pretty! So the entire thing is done like embroidery? Even the parts that look like FMQ?? What kind of fabric did you use? It looks so shiney and festive.

Yes, the whole tree is done in the hoop on an embroidery machine, piece by piece. As a new piece is made, the rest of the tree that's finished gets satin stitched down in place. The cream fabric - and the silver - is Kasha Lining, a beautiful satin-like fabric. The red with the shiny thingees is fabric I found at an East Indian fabric store for $3 a metre!

The design is found at http://www.pjsinthehoop.com/?s=tree-mendous&x=0&y=0
You need a 6x10 hoop. The first one takes awhile but after that, one can cut the pieces much faster and not as accurate as long as you have plenty to hold well in the hoop.
