I went to the Tri County Quilt Tour and it was amazing the quilts that they made all the quilts using the same 16 blocks in any interpretation they choose. They gave out each individual quilt block pattern at each store til you had all 16 of them for free. I forgot my camera for the first day so a few are missing from the 16 stores.

Here is the daffadils that are growing in the Skagit Valley now all the fields are in bloom.

i think that in addition to new and creative quilting methods, there is a real return to tradition. stars are probably the most popular and what everyone thinks of when they think of quilts. don't you?

How wonderful to see all the different interpretations! I've no idea which is my favourite, they're all so lovely, maybe I lean towards the more two or three colour ones! And thanks so much for the daffodils too!
