This is round two of the box T sent me to quilt...

In the tumbler...I put flowers and leaves in vines in the center and then followed the lines in the fabric to make the cross hatching and then feathered the outer border...

The lone star has been feathered......


I used Hobbs polydown batting....and I quilted this on my INNOVA....no computer or pantograph quilting.

The tumbler is AWESOME!! I can't stop looking at it!!
You really picked the perfect quilting design for it.
I knew the feathers on the lonestar would be gorgeous but it still amazes me what you can do!

I think the flowers overwhelm the tumblers. They are a cute quilting pattern, if that is what you want to be dominant.

Wow! Talk about double your pleasure. I'd be hard pressed to select a favorite......I love the flowers, but the lone star with feathers (which I shall have to have some day) is awesome. Great work ladies. It's like sending inspiration when your great work is posted. I want to make them all!
