Hi, I usually just read and learn but today I thought I would share my latest finished quilt. Our daughter did the dyeing, so I made the quilt for her. I had it machine quilted as the dye makes the fabric hard to hand quilt. Ruth

I like doing the turning twenty quilts and they can all look so different depending on colors. Yours is a wonderful example! I love the colors and the daisy quilting really sets if off. Everyone involved did a great job!!

Sun painting done outside in the sun, you wet your white fabric , smooth it out on a plastic covered cardboard or whatever works for you and use sun paints applied with a sponge paint brush, then lay leaves, weeds, grass or open plastic lace, even paper or plastic shapes you cut out on top of the paint and let dry in the bright sunshine. Do not do on a windy day. it is really fun. Friends have framed pieces and also cut up to deco clothing . Endless uses. Ruth |
Everything about your Turning 20 is beautiful. I especially love your daughter's dyes and sun-prints. She could easily sell her fabrics, if she doesn't already. They're gorgeous. Well done!
