Two more for Quilts For Kids

The first three photos are "Filmstrip" - inspired by the tutorial on CrazyMamaQuilts.
The last two are my take on "Scattered Squares" a Craftsy class by Elizabeth Hartman. This also marks my first venture into "organic" straight line quilting.
Both quilts will go to Quilts for Kids.

beautiful quilts ... I would find it hard to give them up. Was quilting done on regular sewing machine?
Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I used a regular sewing machine with a walking foot. The wavy lines on the first quilt were a stitch selection and the wavy lines on the Scattered Squares were of my own doing. :) And thanks for asking. I'm always wondering when others post about what they used to do the quilting and then I'm guilty of the same omission.

I like the pattern on the filmstrip one and your color selection is perfect for it. Very nice.

I just finished a quilt and used the wavy lines, it was simple and now that I look at yours, realize it really looks good. I struggle with free motion, so these are great alternatives, thanks for posting and giving inspiration.
