I stumbled across a way to strategically remove the needle holes on batik fabrics left by "unquilting!" The AquaDoodle pen! I took some before and after pictures to prove it!

The AquaDoodle pen filled with water

Check the toy department of any store that carries toys. My son has a mat that he uses his on.

I was able to buy the pen as a separate item, saved me from having to buy the whole thing!

Dabbing with a clean wet sponge or washcloth will do the same thing.

Would love to see more pictures of this project you are working on. Looks beautiful and your quilting that you did decide to keep looks very intriguing.
