Unusual t shirt quilt

I just finished a T shirt quilt today for a customer whose daughter is graduating from Clemson University. She pieced the foundation, then appliqued a tree shape on the foundation, and cut the t shirts into the shape of leaves and appliqued them around the tree. She also had a little dog, and some flowers on the grass. The quilt was about 80 x 90. I used Pellon cotton batting, So Fine and Bottom Line threads. She wanted the Plumage panto, but the quilting doesn't show very well. I had heard that she makes very unique T shirt quilts and she really does. I didn't have a place to be able to take a picture of the whole quilt, so I had to break it up.

I like the way that was done.

What a clever way to put together a t-shirt quilt. Thanks for sharing.

Oh certainly a very creative way to put together this type of quilt! Much neater than standard squares and rectangles!

That is a super cool quilt. Made better by the presence of the dachshund. hehehehe

Very creative way to do a t-shirt quilt. They don't usually appeal to me, but that one is cool.
