Up date on Kelly"s Wedding quilt

Well I survived the 5 day party. I do think I'm getting a little old for that kind of celebration. But I was glad to pitch in and help my sister and meet a lot of their friends. We do live so far apart.
The Wedding was lovely with the mountains of BC as a backdrop. Any of you ladies from the area; they held it at the EcoRanch campgrounds outside of Golden. Hang gliders kept dropping in all afternoon, and half the guests stayed there overnight. We waited until the day after the wedding to give the bride her gift. We were all relaxing and recovering from the day/evening event. Kids sure party hard. I was one of the first to head home. But the next day back at my sisters, over a long leisurely brunch the kids showed up and I was able to watch their reaction. I do wish I'd had a movie camera. This first picture is the happy couple with her widowed father. PS. I was asked to start prepping for a baby. Gladly. MaryKatherine |
