Up date to What was I thinking?
 

I am doing a happy dance, I got it done late last night and put the label on this morning and it is delivered to where it needed to go, wooooohooooo. I want to thank everyone who supported me this week. You are a wonderful bunch of quilters, and I really appreciate all the confidence you give to everyone. Love it. The black makes it pop and takes out the random confusion of so many string quilts. The yellow cornerstones gentle the black and really make the quilt work. Nice job.

What a great string quilt! That is on my someday list. I love how you unified the scrappy by utilizing that same tan fabric in every block. The quilting panto you chose compliments it beautifully and the black thread really looks good on it, especially the black. Kudos to you for taking the leap with black thread, I don't think I would have been daring enough to have gone in that direction but it looks fabulous.
