Oh your bag came out so cute! I have these handles in the pewter metal and the pattern I bought at the local quilt store. I just haven't had the time to search for the fabric. Maybe now I will get going with your inspiring bag.

Your purse came out beautiful! I bought a set of those handles at a quilt show last fall. Planned to make my daughter a purse to carry for her wedding. The wedding has been put on hold due to finances so maybe I will just make her a pretty cover for those handles like you did. Guess I need to start checking out the Salvation army type stores. Thank you for sharing your wonderful idea.

That's such a pretty purse. I've never seen handles like that--will have to look for them. Did you follow a pattern for the purse or make it up yourself?
|
Thanks for all your kind words, I have made so many of these bags. I'm a small person and they are just my size. I have them for every holiday and everything in between. Thanks again, such nice comments!!!

Very clever of you to make up this "designer" bag! Love it!

These bags are called The Interchangable Bag, its wonderful creator is Ellen Medlock. Her website is http://ellenmedlockstudio.com. Her handles are pretty expensive but you can find them on etsy or ebay. Thanks
