Hello, I posted a quilt a month or so ago I got from my cousin who had passed away from cancer. It was a kit & I posted it. Well this is a wall hanging she started. I put the borders on, quilted it, and put the binding on. I washed it and it is now hanging in my sewing room. It means a lot to me and is very special. I sure hope she likes what I did. She did all the hard work, I just finished it. Hope you enjoy. Thanks

The wall hanging is very pretty and I am sure she would be honored to have it hanging in such a special place

Lovely and wonderful colors. She had a great eye for fabric selection. How fortunate you are to have it to cherish and enjoy her work. I'll bet she is smiling to see it finished.

I have a similar project to finish for a dear friend: She was making a buzz light year quilt for her grandsons, and died from complications from breast CA before she could finish it. I cared for her the last few weeks, and she asked me to finish it for the boys. Been too painful so far...but need to get on it soon or they will be too old to enjoy.

What is the last photo? Looks like a quilt with chenille....really nice. Please post it when finished and let me know how that worked out. Never tried adding chenille except in a baby quilt.
