I made this for my niece for her 2nd marriage. The blocks were all pieced for the wedding in October, and I gave the quilt to them for Christmas.
I used large squares of the yellow for people to practice on and then used them for the back of the quilt.

That's wonderful! I am getting married in May and plan on doing the same thing in lieu of a guest book.

Such a special quilt. It was wonderful for you to do that for them. I am sure they will enjoy it for years to come. An heirloom to pass down to their children. So special.

They are actually a pale yellow. The pattern has the diagonal pieces cut 1/16" narrower than the straight pieces. This makes matching up easier.

Looking for the pattern

I am looking for the pattern for the signature quilt. Out of all the quilts we looked at on pinterest this is the one that she wants me to make for her wedding in June and I want to get started soon but don't know what it is called. Could you please help me out. ;)

Very interesting pattern. The ones I have seen are usually kind of boring.

Okay does anybody know what this quilt is called and how I can get the pattern. It is so neat and I would love to make it for a friend that is moving. It reminds me of roads going all directions!! Please please!

This pattern looks very similar but I can't tell if it's the same because the picture is cut off and sideways. https://www.leisurearts.com/lap-throw-quilts.html

Ok, let me clarify the above post, lol. It didn't link to the quilt I wanted it to. The quilt is on that page but is in a thumbnail pic on the 2nd row, 3rd one from the left. I don't think it's the same but it's the closest I could find.

So pleased this old post came up, love the quilt. I couldn't find any pattern for it but did try to make it up with EQ. Seems it is three blocks, and if they are 9" finished blocks 2 & 3 use 3-1/2"squares and strips 3-1/2 x 9-1/2. The diagonal block seems to be a little different, I think to ensure the white strips meet exactly. You would have to test with a sample block or two. Then you could either draw up the block as a foundation pieced one or sew 3 long strips and cut out triangles, then join to make squares, though this might upset those white joins.

You could probably make 6" blocks using 2 1/2" squares and strips, and change the 3 & 6" marks to 2 & 4" on a 6" square.
