I'm glad that you like the block! Something to be aware of is that the version in "5500 Quilt Block Designs" is not drawn correctly. They didn't pay attention when they copied it from QNM and it is not quite the same as my original design. QNM added the little curved triangles at the corners. I drew the block to be set on point with special half and quarter blocks to fill out the edges, but QNM did it as a straight set - I think it's even prettier on point than in a straight set.
