What color quilting thread would you use on this quilt? I'm thinking brown but I'd rather use white or cream/off white on the white sections.

I would go with the off-white, I am a traditionalist. I would think the dark thread would distract from the text blocks.

I agree.. off white... brown would detract from the text areas...

Between brown and white-----------a nice tan or dark beige! Even on the white

or you could go with a pale pale gray thread that would blend in with everything

Thread to match the color of the light fabric in the quilt. I can't tell if it is white or off-white, but whatever goes with that.

IMHO it would depend on whether this is hand quilting or machine quilting ... and what type of design you are doing.

I would audition a pale green. It would help to show the stitching some, yet not have an in-your-face look to it.
