Hi,
This is my first picture i'm brave enouph to show, because I don't know what to do to finish it. I bought fabric from Walmart and now I can't get anymore, and don't have enouph to finish . Would it look dumb if I just put a binding around it or does it need a border?

Thank You
Norma

Pretty quilt, nice job. I don't think it would look silly with no border.

It's great. Love the colors.

I think just the binding would look good. Very pretty quilt!

I think it needs a very thin (2 inches?) border then a binding. Darkest blue would be nice.

In addition to most or all of the big-name brands, Marshall's Dry Goods sells a lot of the fabrics found at Walmart. Look in General Fabrics.

Crow's Nest Quilting specializes in Red Rooster but also carries some of the fabs found at Walmart, and some from P&B Textiles.

both sites have great prices and excellent service.

The first post said she can't find any more of the original fabric she used.

Looks nice! It would look good either way. If you wanted a border, you could add a marble or other tonal if you can't find matching fabric. It would blend in just fine.

I've done log cabins with no border and they look just fine. Love your quilt.
