Ok, This is what I have added to the 4 totes, set of coasters w/runner, and 2 small lap quilts that I already made.

couple more.
It was suggested that I might make something Americana, so thought maybe the table runners with the Sub Dolphins might go good.

So, this now gives me a little bit to start with. I'm going to finish off table runners and totes the rest of this week. Then I have the small lap quilts that need backing and batting. I also found a top that I made, didn't really like it, that needs batting and backing and I can put that in to sell too. Just gotta keep sewing, sewing, sewing.

A little pillow I made, thought it was cute.

I think it's wild that we all seem to have some of the same fabrics in our stash!

Yes, I do sleep! Ok, not much tho.
I'm back into what I call "deployment mode". That's where I usually do most of my cleaning during the evening hours instead of when normal people do theirs. I could be vacuuming or scrubbing bathrooms at 1am. lol
Lately I have been falling into bed around 3am and then I'm up at 8am. Sometimes, depending on what I have going on, I might take a nap during the afternoon for about an hour or two. That also depends on how my shoulder is acting and if I take Motrin, Advil or Tylenol for it. My shoulder muscles were torn about 15 years ago and they never healed properly. Surgery won't fix it, so it's just pain I deal with. Docs are NOW finally realizing they need to do something, so they are working on putting paperwork in for handicap/disability. Just all a pain in the butt to me.

Izy 09-14-2008 10:15 PM

Blimey gal...if you were on peace work you would have made yourself a fortune this last couple of weeks.

Great work, you must have a boot/trunk load of stuff now for your fair :D

tlrnhi 09-14-2008 10:34 PM

No, I don't have much. I'm still sewing.........

Quilt4u 09-15-2008 01:25 AM

You go girl. But please do not over do it.You need some sleep or you'll make yourself sick. We do not what that. We love your work; and we would miss you.

tlrnhi 09-15-2008 04:18 AM

Oh, don't worry, I won't overdo it.
Don't have much of anything else to do except clean the house, which is pretty much done. Just need to vacuum again.
Also have to get into Courtney's room and get it packed up and straightened up, but that's pretty much all, other than sewing!
I do have a meeting Friday night, but that's pretty much the highlite of my week.

Bevanger 09-15-2008 04:38 AM

awesome job.Boy your really whipping them out...... :D

sandpat 09-19-2008 03:59 AM

All of it is lookin' good Terri. Good luck selling your stuff! I hope to get enough confidence in the next yr. to try my hand at selling some stuff too==only to pay for the habit. I've sold quite a few hand knitted Christmas stockings for pets..and a couple of hand needlepointed seat covers..but nothing else.

reneebobby 09-19-2008 04:14 AM

Wow you are busy since no one is around. How are your two new partners in crime doing? Are they running all over your stuff? lol Keep it up girl your doing great.

Brazen 09-19-2008 04:29 AM

Your tote bags look really great!! Great pineapple fabric, too! I've been looking around the forums for a few days and just now starting to post. hehe Are you guys a Navy family stationed at Pearl? I've been reading some of your posts and I see your avatar pic is in Hawaii.

My husband is Army and we just PCS'd away from Schofield... and boy do I miss it!!!! We lived out on the Army housing at Helemano Military Reservation, so we had like an 8 minute drive to the North Shore.

Anyway! I just wanted to say hi and that I think your sewn items are really pretty! :)

mary quite contrary 09-19-2008 04:47 AM

I'm loving your tote bags. I definitely have those on my todo list.

Hi Brazen...welcome!
Thanks!!
No, that's not in Hawaii. I was there up until Jan, then came here to Guam UGH!
Yes, we are Navy.

Brazen 09-19-2008 05:27 AM

Ahh!! Gotcha! Guam's not so great? I don't know anything about life there. We had 3 years in Hawaii, tho, and it was fantastic. North Carolina.... not so much. LOL!!

Quilting Aggi 09-19-2008 06:34 AM

nice work Terri!!!!

Elizabeth A. 09-19-2008 11:45 AM

Of Terri your pineapple on the blue is beautiful. :D Is that one of your Hawaii purchases?

That really sucks (or in your case hurts) about your shoulder). Personally I hate pain. It's a wonder all these things being researched and they don't have better answers for pain.

Welcome Brazen, hopefully you'll enjoy it here. I know I do.

Ya know, I wouldn't have minded ONLY 3 years there, but had 12, so I am pretty tired of islands. No, Guam really isn't a nice place...it is, but it's small and takes a while to drive because of roads and whatnot.

I've had the pineapple for a while. I've shared it with Lisa because she loves pineapples :)
My next trip back to HI I will need to restock on the fabric. I'm quickly running out. Will hopefully be going back for Christmas with the kids.

Nope, their best answer is "vitamin M" (Motrin) unless I get ahold of the other doc I saw who gave me my "happy" pills (oxycodone), which works great, but makes me really woozy and wobbly.

bluebird 09-19-2008 03:23 PM

Nice job and beautiful materials. How much longer will you be in Guam?

Thanks Bluebird. We have about a year and half. Rumor has it that we might get extended for about 4 months longer because of the ships schedule

barnbum 09-19-2008 04:41 PM

Looking girl, girl! :D

I know what you mean about sew, sew, sew... if I'm not grading papers--I'm trying to get ready for my Nov 8th craft show. Yours is first though.

I really want to curl up with a good book--but no, I must SEW! :?

gcathie 09-19-2008 10:45 PM

Great job...good luck on your sales

Thanks Karla!

I know...I'm starting to get burn out, but I know I just have to buck up and do it. I did find my book I was looking for when the power went out, but since I now have power again, I need to get back in the room and sew. Actually, since the cats are downstairs, I need to break out the vacuum.
