I took the long sleeves off the dress sz 4. Sewed them together so I had one small piece of fabric. Layed the panties from another leotard over the fabric and traced around it. Beginning to think I should have taken pictures. Wasn't wuite wide enough to go around so... I took the leg hole pieces and added that to the sides. Then sewed the panties inside the dress where the skirt joined the dropped bodice.

Sure u were busy with goods (i loved the yellow dress)

My favorite is the happy bright yellow and orange dress, I think. I liked all of them. Cute idea when a dress is too short

Both dresses from same McCalls pattern. I trace the size I need onto another paper so I can use the pattern again. Sleeves are interchangeable.

The older I get (71) the more I enjoy. I'm no longer afraid to try anything. If it doesn't work, I can always cut pieces for a quilt.
