Here's a couple of pics of a wall hanging I did yesterday using a Thimbleberries panel called "Snow Fun". It measures 32" x 34". I really like the Thimbleberries panels and their vintage look. These are super easy to make, since the entire panel is printed and you just trim it to size, layer, and then quilt it and add hangers.

Don't you have a hat like that snowman is wearing, eddie? LOL!

I love your thimbleberries panel. All of the borders and cornerstones are on there already? Cool Beans! You are getting so good at that free motion quilting. your stitches look smooth and well spaced. I love it! Very cute eddie.

Yes, the whole thing is one big panel so all you have to do is trim the panel to size and then quilt it. No piecing required! :D

Never saw the panel before but if anyone knows where I can get it or please PM if you have one you aren't using. Would be happy to pay for it full price. ---Wow!

granny216 12-30-2009 04:45 AM

Sorry about that. I was telling my daughter about the quilt panel over coffee and told her I put it on the quilting border a few minutes earlier. She almost spilled the darn coffee, she stammered and said, "Mom, don't worry I got you one and was going to give it to you when you finished those Quilts for Kids so don't worry about it I'll bring it down later." Did I have the nerve to tell her I could use 2? You can bet not. She knows how I love Snow Men. Great way to end the New Year.

I like the old fashioned look of it and you do such wonderful work !!!

Are these the ones that feature Normal Rockwell paintings?

No, these aren't Rockwell paintings, although they do seem to have similar themes.
