Winter Whispers-

4 Attachment(s)
Well, I FINALLY finished and delivered last year's Christmas present to my baby sister; Winter Whispers Eagle, pattern by Michelle Mara for Northcott Fabrics...with a little creative design, using EQ7, in order to make it a super king size (110 x 122, washed up at 107 x 117). I tried my best to get it done last year, but it was not to be, so it was given with "some assembly required". Funny thing, when I logged the completion date on my quilt journal, I began on Oct. 16th last year and completed on Oct. 16th this year! I'm currently working on this year's surprise "winter quilt" for a family member, and it WILL be done by Christmas-I'm determined

Very nice! Love that fabric that looks like blue-y ice-y crystals next to the green HST's off the panel.

WOW, this quilt is outstanding ! I have several wild life panels I need to do something with but can never figure things out without a pattern .

omaluvs2quilt 10-23-2013 09:01 PM

Thanks everyone, you can't know how happy I was to finally get this one done. I couldn't have done it without EQ7. I broke in my HQ Sweet 16 on this one. Quite a few frustrations and learning curves, but what a relief to finally be finished...now moving on : )

Panels can be lots of fun, but they're much more challenging than they look...it may be awhile before I tackle another.
