WIP Mariner's Compass

This is my 1st Mariner's Compass. Only my 2nd project using paper piecing. I am thinking about putting a brown border around the edge so it looks like it is in a frame or case.
Thanks for looking.

I just realized the two halves don't match up right. Here I go with the ripper again.

Congrats on tackling one of these beauties!! Yours is brilliant and you definetely should be proud of your accomplishment. Have a great time finishing this gorgeous centerpiece and the quilt.

It looks really good! I can see the white extended a little on the the one side but if you still have 1/4 inch of white past the compass tips, you should be able to fix it without taking it apart? Unless you have background pattern pieces to fit the circle into exactly, I would just redraw the circle.

I'm with you the brown will really set it off. Great job.
