I am posting pictures of this quilt top that I had the honor of doing for MEH. Her mother was the one that made the wool quilt top. I thought she might like having this posted since she can't post pictures. Hopefully she can add more information about the quilt top.

Thanks,
Sherryl

cool quilt, thanks for sharing with us

How pretty is that. And of course, the quilting looks so good.
My Mom used to make wool comforters from old woolen clothes. Since we didn't have anything but wood stoves for heat our bedrooms would be mighty chilly in those Oklahoma winter nights. Those heavy wool quilts sure felt good. She always tied hers. Things are much different now days.

I am MEH. I found this Quilt top with the backing and batting in a dresser drawer after my Mom passed away. There was a note with it that asked me to see that it got finished and who it was to be given to. I took one look at it and STRESSED OUT big time. I didn't know anything about quilting. I put it in a box and WORRIED about it for awhile. Then I found the QB and joined. One day I saw a note from Candlequilter about longarm quilting I PM her. She called me and said she would look at it and the rest is history. WOW, the stress is gone and it turned out beautiful thanks to her.

What a beautiful story. I love a happy ending.
In all its simplicity, it is warm and comforting, made with love, nice on the eyes. What quilts are meant to be.

Boy, that would sure keep me toasty warm when the frigid air begins to blow in a couple more months!!
