One of our members wanted to see the quilt I made to honor my DD when she returned from active duty in Kuwait.. Had great teachers, and learned so much making it. She still uses it.

That is beautiful! Can she take it back to base with her and use it over there? I have seen a lot of people make quilts for soldiers overseas, I just wondered if they were allowed to be on their racks or do they relax the rules a little there?

She used this quilt in her next deployment to Kuwait, two or three years later.
