Just finished one of my dad's gifts. He's a big Steeler fan with a big recliner, so I think he will put this to good use.
It just came off the sewing machine, and now it is going in the washer, and I am praying that Kona cottons don't bleed, because I used a lot of it and I didn't prewash it. I hope I don't regret that decision. (I don't even have room anywhere to lay the whole quilt out to take a good picture--I barely have room to sew!) :D |
What a great quilt ! he will love it

I ALWAYS put a dye catcher sheet in when I wash my quilts. If you haven't used them, get them in the dryer sheet/laundry products section of the store. I think they are terrific, and so is your quilt. I am sure your Dad will love it.

Great quilt.

Nice job!! If I were you, I would throw a couple sheets of color catchers in the first wash just in case. I wouldn't "trust" the red Kona not to bleed. Kona is good fabric but you just never know!!

He wil surely LOVE his quilt!

Terrific!

Your Dad will love this quilt! In case you haven't washed it yet, I put in a handful of regular table salt and nothing has ever bled on my quilts. Just a thought ...

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful quilt. My best friend growing up in washington was a steelers fan and you have brought back some wonderful memories of her!
