It is Laurel Burch fabric - pulled from my stash, line is called Felines & Canines. All the fabric has been discontinued so I cherish my stash. She is a real worker - she came up on a Tuesday, she sewed from 7:30 am til 11:30, we took a break for lunch about 11:30 and she was back to work at 12:00 and stopped about 5:00. Then she came back on Thursday and worked for another 4-5 hours and she was done. The instructions are very clear - just do it in exactly the sequence the pattern goes in - don't second guess any steps. Be sure you have everything you need for the bag so you don't have to stop and run to the store. The only thing we do differently is to fuse the interfacing to the fabric before cutting - that saves a lot of hassle for me. Don't let the 13-14 pages of instructions intimidate you - do one step at a time. Will keep you posted about the fair.

OMG! That pattern from long time sewers said was difficult! She's amazing to have tackled that bag. I hope she wins a "Grand Champion" ribbon.
