Absolutely beautiful. I thought about doing a pineapple block but does not look easy. You are doing a great job.

It actually is a very easy block to put together just a bit time consuming since there are 42 pieces for each block. The pieces are one square for the middle and the rest rectangles. If you can sew on a printed line you can make this block

I recently finished a paper pieced quilt that needed 90 blocks to finish and it took me a similar amount of time per block but I felt I was just inexperienced. I feel much better knowing that it is taking you the same amount of time. Paper piecing this pattern undoubtedly helps insure the precision it requires and "so far so good" is an understatement! Great colors and using black makes the blocks visually explode...I hope you will post the final inspirational results?

This will be one very gorgeous quilt. I'm not too sure I would have the patience, but would love to try a block or two. I hope we get to see the finished quilt.
