Default Pumpkin wallhanging
Had the top done a year ago but just finished quilting it in September in time to hang for fall. I made it up as I went and it is 53 inches squared. Good one to practice different FMQ designs. I love the checked border!

I love the checkerboard border as well as your piped binding (or possibly a faux flange??). Either way that tiny little pop of gold looks great. Is your pumpkin fabric one piece or did you make it by sewing all those different shades of orange squares together and then cutting out the applique?

I can't tell you how much I love this hanging, from the patchwork pumpkins to the checkerboard border. everything about it is terrific!!!
