Don't you wonder why this ended up at Savers ? We are getting one here on April 17th, can't wait ! Your quilt top is lovely, BTW.

I have a quilt top I bought at an antique/thrift store years ago for $20. Very simple pattern of squares in 3 different colors......AND made with a polyester/cotton blend fabric. I had purchased a back for it and had my LA quilt it in a very simple pattern....it's on my bed right now, with a Warm & Natural batting has made the perfect winter quilt for our bed!! Did I mention it was a generous king size!! Seems foolish, I know, for a quilter to purchase a top like this but I hope whoever made it knows that it is being used and loved!!

I have visited a Savers thrift store when I go to Boise, ID. Some "good stuff".

Beautiful quilt top. Lucky you. It is so sad that someone put a lot of time and money into it and it sold for $3.99. I am looking at mine. I am glad you bought it and going to complete someone's project. You did good. Please show it to us when completed.

I did a search and there are several Savers in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. I didn't know either. I am going to have to check them out.
