Default Purple,Blue, and chartreuse Romantic Dresdan

Well, I finally did it. I cut into all those beautiful blue and purple floral fabrics that I have been collecting for quite some time now.
I LOVE dresdans!!! Somehow I just don't think I could have to many dresdan quilts in my collection. I made this using my Big shot pro die cutting machine. I cut all the dresdans pieces from fat quarters and the tiny bit of leftovers I cut 2 1/2 squares to make the corner blocks. I had the chartreuse fabric in my stash and truthfully I loved it when I bought it but after I got home nothing went with it UNTIL I needed something to go with these blue and purple dresdans. I think it just makes everything POP! I was in LOVE!!! I even had some flannel in my stash that worked great for the backing. OH YEAH that should be comfy and cuddly this winter! This is a large quilt 98X98 and fits my kingsize bed. Hope you all enjoy my creation.

Happy quilting,
Jeanne

I love it. I never thought I cared for Dresdens. But yours is absolutely beautiful. And how creative to use the chartruese! Very very nice.

Green and purple are one of my favourite colour combinations in a quilt. I love your Dresden Plate quilt!
