Default purple and green quilt to show

this is a quilt top that i have recently made:

no matter how "random" you try to make it, some placements are just not quite right!

still learning about accuracy, placement, patience!

Very pretty fabrics! Sometimes we end up with a new layout by pieces not being where we wanted them. I assume you're referring to the green on green in the 9 patch blending with the same fabric rectangle below it? It might work better in the center of the 9 patch, but is it really worth tearing it out? You decide.

i was still fussing around with this post when you posted, i think. both are patterns that i have made from my own notes and measurements. i am not sure if there is an official name for the blocks. this is the original posting of the lime green and purple quilt: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t210508.html thank you for asking!

i was using a fat quarter package and didn't make exact plans when i started. so, when it came time to put it altogether, i just did the best i could. more and different patterns would have worked better.
