no matter how "random" you try to make it, some placements are just not quite right!
still learning about accuracy, placement, patience!

Stunning, i love purple and green.
Never look down on anyone, unless you are helping them up.
Love that lime green! Nice job.

Really like these. What is the pattern name of the second one please? BrendaK
Be kind to yourself, by being kind to others. When you help others you help yourself.
Very pretty fabrics! Sometimes we end up with a new layout by pieces not being where we wanted them. I assume you're referring to the green on green in the 9 patch blending with the same fabric rectangle below it? It might work better in the center of the 9 patch, but is it really worth tearing it out? You decide.

i was still fussing around with this post when you posted, i think. both are patterns that i have made from my own notes and measurements. i am not sure if there is an official name for the blocks. this is the original posting of the lime green and purple quilt: made a quilt using my own pattern thank you for asking!
i was using a fat quarter package and didn't make exact plans when i started. so, when it came time to put it altogether, i just did the best i could. more and different patterns would have worked better.
nicely done
