    Thank you everyone for all your lovely comments! It has been so encouraging.

    Bluebell - I know it looks white on the picture, but I'm actually scared of white because I would be bound to get it grubby. Some blocks are an ivory colour, and they alternate with blocks in a buttermilk cream colour. I thought it would be boring if all the background was the same.

    DogHouseMom - Congratulations on your little grandson!

    I will be sure to take photos at the show - I just hope there aren't any restrictions there and that I can stand far enough back to get a good view of the quilts.
