    Using striped fabric instead of strip piecing units to cut template for lone star/Texas star makes easy work of this quilt. My class sample will have borders added later. Moosegirl

    This is way too wonderful. What a great idea and certainly a lot quicker than the traditional block. Like it a lot. Your border also sets it off nicely.
    Think of what one could do with seasonal fabric!

    Very nice.. don't you just love those Jinny Beyer stripes? I have a lap quilt in the works with smaller stars of her stripes.. love it!!
