And I named it 'caught the lizard'. The lizard block is in the center 'caught' by the dog blocks. Her dog is always chasing the lizards and anoles

A lot of the time quilts are over quilted when simple quilting is best.
Mind you some over-quilted quilts are amazing. It is a matter of opinion on hand and simple quilting though.

Way too adorable for a dog! I'll bet he/she loves it, though. Pinwheels are surprisingly hard to get right, considering how few pieces they have!

Cute quilt and I sure hope that the dog doesn't resent that simple quilting you did instead of "feathers".
