what a wonderful quilt! i'd never think of putting ruffles across the middle - nice touch. i have those book pages, but had made a book that no one looks at... i'll have to take it apart and use them as you did. thanks for the inspiration

Such a lovely quilt! The throw size is perfect for kids to carry from room to room to snuggle under.
I can still recall the scents of my gramma and grandpa when I look through my old photo albums. She loved to bake and he smoked a pipe and was always building things in his workshop. I suppose the smells clung to their hair and clothes.
